Les Parfums d'Isabelle has been set up in 2006 by Isabelle Gellé, a French perfumer based in Yorkshire and striving to make people rediscover the natural smells of Nature through botanical perfumes.
Through her company, LES PARFUMS D'ISABELLE, Isabelle designs natural perfumes and spa products on behalf of cosmetics and boutique hotels with spa promoting organic and pure skincare and wanting to recreate the scents of Nature naturally. The company also provides A-Z consultancy services for the set up of spa retreats, detox and wellness centres, currently in France and Spain in collaboration with established players in the wellness industry.
Isabelle is a native of the Indian ocean islands which makes her naturally enclined to know a lot about tropical scents. She lived and worked in many foreign countries and her travels led her to develop her creativity for all what Nature has got to offer as well as for everything beautiful and uncompromised luxury. She started to create perfumes at the early age of 10, using gardenia flowers and other tropical plants macerating in coconut oil and all the different countries she lived in as well as her extensive knowledge of the spices and aromas business in Africa, allowed her to get acquainted to the unlimited scents of Nature. She is currently completing a diploma in aromatherapy and spa therapy and is a qualified practitioner of Indian Head massage.

She is passionate about her business and is proud to be part of the growing wellness and eco-industry.
Isabelle promotes Perfumetherapy and is an advocate of Fair Trade for women in poor countries. She is actively involved in a pepper, coffee and cocoa plantation development in Togo, West Africa and deals directly with essential oils producers and cooperatives in countries such as India, Indonesia, Madagascar, Haïti, constantly striving to make sure that someone in the world benefits from her business actions. She is also in favour of finding a balance between RISK and DANGER as to the various and often contradictory scare-mongering reports made on some natural ingredients or perservatives which have been used efficiently for centuries and to this effect, tends not to necessarily follow the current opportunistic political trends about ecology and environment.
